To map the task fields from Monday.com and PPM Express while linking projects perform the following:

1. Click on the Configure mapping button in the Board section.

2. Click on the External Items Mapping tab and select to edit the task mapping.

3. Use the 'Add Mapping Fields' button to set up fields and directions for the data exchange on the 'Configure Task import mapping' page.

Click the 'Save Mapping' button to save this mapping.

Please note: Some fields can be mapped only via transformation rules as the values for these fields are different in Monday.com and PPM Express.

Click on the gear button next to the field you need to set transformation rules for.

Select and/or type in the values for both systems. Click Ok

Save the mapping.

Please note: The mapping you set up for one project is not shared for other projects. The task field mapping should be set up for each project separately.

Please note: If there is a Team assigned to tasks on Monday.com, a generic resource will be created in PPM Express with the name of the Monday.com Team and will be assigned to the corresponding task.

You can also set up field mapping for Monday.com sub-tasks as they have a separate set of fields in Monday.com. By default, only the Name field is mapped from the Monday.com sub-task to PPM Express.

The process of sub-task field mapping is the same as for task field mapping.
