Exploring the Single-Page Template in Project Story

The Single-page template in Project Story presents a compact, easy-to-read summary of a project on a single screen. It includes essential details and dynamically generated content to provide stakeholders with a clear snapshot of project health and activity. Below is a breakdown of what is included in this layout and how it is structured.

At the top of the report, the following details are displayed: Project Name and Icon, Project Managers, Statuses, and the previous Week Ending date.

Status Summary

This section provides an AI-generated narrative summary of the project's current state. It is broken down into several paragraphs:

  1. General Status (Overview) – A few sentences describing the overall status of the project (e.g., On Track, At Risk, Critical). This data is sourced from the Primary Schedule configured for the project (Project Settings -> Primary Schedule).

  2. Due to (Summary of Key Areas) – A paragraph summarizing the current state of: Key Dates, Issues, Risks, Tasks, Budget.

  3. Back to Green Plan (Recommendations) – AI-generated suggestions for getting the project back on track.

If the overall status is On Track, only the general status summary is included in the Status Summary section.

Focus Areas (Upcoming Activities)

This section highlights the most imminent tasks:

  • Displays up to 8 upcoming tasks whose start date is today + 1 day or later

  • If no tasks meet the criteria, the message "There are no upcoming tasks" is shown

  • Tasks are sorted by ascending start date

Dates&Milestones

This table shows up to 5 upcoming key dates:

  • Only active key dates are included (completed ones are excluded)

  • Milestones are selected if they fall within ±15 days from today
